Linwood Park Owned Facilities

The Linwood Lodge

The Linwood Lodge is a large facility: accommodates 26 people, has a commercial kitchen, large dining area, comfortable living/gathering space, large fireplace, and one handicap accessible bedroom and bathroom on first floor.

It is ideal for retreats and family gatherings.

For information about Lodge rental availability, reservations and deposit/payment please call the Park Superintendent at 440.967.4237. Gate fees (not included with the Lodge rental fee) may be paid by the guests at the gate when entering the park.

The Upper Rooms

The Upper Rooms at Linwood Park offer a unique way to experience Linwood Park — A Place in the Heart. The rooms on the second floor of the stand housed girls who worked at the former hotel and also those who worked in the Stand. It was closed many years ago and became an area for storage. Several years ago the Company completely restored the Upper Rooms to provide additional rental rooms for daily rentals.

Rooms can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 4 persons. Each Room has comfortable beds, sitting area and a sink. There are two shared bathrooms, a microwave station and a refrigerator. There is also a sitting area overlooking the lake where guests gather to play games, work on puzzles, or just sit and read.

The stand (first floor) opens at 7:30 am and has coffee, doughnuts (from Hamman’s Bakery), sandwiches and other light snacks. On weekends the Grill is open offering hamburgers, brats, and hotdogs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinners ranging from fast food to one of the best French restaurants in the US.

Privately Owned Cottage Rentals

Private Cottages

A few cottages are year-round permanent residences, but most are summer vacation homes fully utilized by family and friends for the season. Occasionally a family may find their cottage setting empty and will make it available for friends, guests or renters.

In fact, less than a forth may be available for rent or a usage fee to pay a share of the cost for utilities, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, Park Company operating assessments, etc. Each owner determines the amount of the compensation, who they let use their cottage and terms of use. Of course there are Park Company gate fees (everyone pays gate fees—including cottage owners, lease holders and shareholders) but the Park Company has nothing to do with the renting or sale of any owner’s cottage or lease.

There is no central registry for cottages that may be for use, each owner must be contacted individually to determine availability and applicable usage fees or rent for the cottage. Any such owner fees do not include the gate fees which are paid directly to The Linwood Park Company upon entering the park.

Cottage rent information posted by the owner can be found here.
